John Wayne Airport (JWA) is a commercial and general aviation airport that serves Orange County, California, and the Greater Los Angeles area. The airport is in an unincorporated area of Orange County, and it is owned and operated by the county. JWA is the second busiest airport in the Greater Los Angeles area (by passenger count) with over 9 million total passengers. In addition to the airline terminal, several facilities at the airport serve the large general aviation and corporate aviation community. JWA Environmental implements a rigorous stormwater compliance program required under California’s Industrial General Permit (CAS000001) and is required to provide annual training to employees, tenants, and contractors that have the potential to influence stormwater quality while working at JWA. This training course has been prepared to satisfy the Employee Training Program requirements in Section X.H.2.f of the Industrial General Permit.
